Jon Chau’s passion for storytelling began in a small town in northern California. Fascinated by the notion of merging the worlds of sound and narrative, he wrote compositions accompanied by imaginative tales and visuals on a daily basis. The self-taught producer learned to play every instrument within his grasp. His infinite drive to evolve and explore all creative facets have set the tone for his journey in scoring to picture.

His music and sound design have been featured in acclaimed television shows, films, and video games such as The Walking Dead, Black Mirror, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and God of War.  Extending his skill set to record production and live performances, Jon has collaborated with artists and groups like Zedd and 88 Rising. Most recently, he composed the original score for Nickelodeon's Baby Shark's Big Movie.

Jon's creations are known for their wonder, whimsy, and a heartfelt wistfulness that resonates deeply with audiences.  His ability to evoke intricate emotions, coupled with effortless versatility in navigating diverse sonic landscapes, has become a hallmark of his composition style.
